A Trans-Canada Electric Superhighway
This white paper with the title: “How a TransCanada Electric Superhighway will Profitably Achieve Renewable Energy Objectives” was forwarded to Canada’s provincial and territorial ministers of energy and mining for their meeting in Winnipeg August 23, 2016. Their news release following the meeting stated: “On electricity and strategic infrastructure, ministers agreed to explore collaboration on new and enhanced inter-jurisdictional electricity transmission interties….&… , increased cross-border transmission of clean energy and enhanced resiliency of the North American electricity grid.”
